Mr Goi is currently the Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director of the Company. The Nominating Committee ("NC"), with Mr Goi's abstaining, has considered his professional qualifications, working experiences, suitability and familiarity with the operations and business of the Company and its subsidiaries, and recommended to the Board that Mr Goi to be re-designated as Executive Director and appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

After having considered the recommendation of the NC, the Board is satisfied that Mr Goi has the requisite expertise and capability to assume the responsibilities as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
