Telstra Corporation Limited appoints new auditor

Telstra Corporation Limited announces that Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (Deloitte) has been appointed as auditor of Telstra Corporation Limited. The appointment follows formal consent to Ernst & Young s resignation by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission.

Telstra Corporation Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra Group Limited, the head entity of the Telstra Group. Telstra Group Limited announced on 15 October 2024 that Deloitte has been appointed as Telstra Group Limited s auditor, following approval by shareholders at its Annual General Meeting on that date.

The decision to change the auditor for the Telstra Group was made following a review of the external audit engagement earlier this year. Following the completion of a tender process, Deloitte was selected to provide statutory auditing services to the Telstra Group, including Telstra Corporation Limited, from the financial year starting 1 July 2024. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Ernst & Young for its assistance and professional services to Telstra Corporation Limited.
