Description (Please provide a detailed description of the event in the box below): This to inform the Exchange that the Board Meeting of the Bank will be held on Friday, the 27th May, 2016 at Bengaluru, inter-alia , to approve the Audited Financial Results of the Bank for the Quarter and Year ended 31st March 2016 and also to recommend consideration of Dividend for the year 2015-16, if any, subject to the approval of Shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Bank.

In terms of Clause 10(A) of Canara Bank Code of Conduct for Prohibition of Insider Trading, the trading window for dealings in shares of the Bank will remain closed from 17.05.2016 to 29.05.2016 for the Directors / Designated Persons of the Bank and will be reopened on 30.05.2016, on account of Board Meeting to be held on 27.05.2016, inter-alia, to approve the Audited Financial Results of the Bank for the Quarter and Year ended 31st March, 2016..
