IENOVA INFORMS ABOUT TRANSACTION ANNOUNCED BY ITS CONTROLLING SHAREHOLDER SEMPRA ENERGY

Mexico City, December 21, 2021 Infraestructura Energ tica Nova, S.A.P.I. de C.V. ( IEnova ) informs to the market, pursuant to article 50, Section III, paragraph d) of the General provisions applicable to issuers of securities and other securities market participants (Disposiciones de car cter general aplicables a las emisoras de valores y a otros participantes del mercado de valores) issued by the Mexican Banking and Securities Commission (Comisi n Nacional Bancaria y de Valores) that, today, its controlling shareholder Sempra Energy, announced the execution of an agreement to carry out a transaction that includes a non-controlling participation of IEnova.

The transaction is subject to the customary closing conditions, included third-party and regulator consents.
