Description (Please provide a detailed description of the event in the box below): This to inform the Exchange that the Board Meeting of the Bank will be held on Monday, the 08th May, 2017 at Bengaluru, inter-alia , to approve the Audited Financial Results of the Bank for the Quarter and Year ended 31st March 2017 and also to recommend consideration of Dividend for the year 2016-17, if any, subject to the approval of Shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Bank.

In terms of Clause 10(A) of Canara Bank Code of Conduct for Prohibition of Insider Trading, the trading window for dealings in shares of the Bank was closed from 28.04.2017 to 10.05.2017 for the Directors / Designated Persons of the Bank and will be reopened on 11.05.2017, on account of Board Meeting to be held on 08.05.2017, inter-alia, to approve the Audited Financial Results of the Bank for the Quarter and Year ended 31st March, 2017, as informed above..
