Further to the immediate report of the Israel Electric Corporation Ltd. ("the
Company") dated November 9, 2023, regarding the selection of a winner in a
competitive process for the sale of the Eshkol generation site ("the Eshkol Site"), the
Company is pleased to announce that today, December 11, 2023, the sale agreement
was signed with the winner in this process, Eshkol Power Energies Ltd., private
company 516658960.
Completion of the sale of the Eshkol Site is subject to the fulfillment of several
suspending conditions, including obtainment of generation licenses from the
Electricity Authority, with the approval of the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure,
obtainment of merger approval from the Competition Authority, as well as obtainment
of other regulatory approvals, as stipulated in the sale agreement. As of the
publication date of the report, there is no certainty regarding the completion of the
transaction or its date.
The Company will again report on this matter as required by law.
