This is with reference to the article in Bloomberg Quint on 1, November 2017, regarding sale of Company s Indonesian Coal Mines. The Board and Management of Mercator is committed to making disclosures at the appropriate time so as to avoid any asymmetry of information. The Company follows a policy of not commenting on market rumours.

The Company would also like to mention that monetisation of its Coal Business has been its stated strategy and in that perspective it keeps evaluating various options, however no definite decision has yet been taken regarding the same.
