Mexico City, December 09 2020 Infraestructura Energetica Nova, S.A.B. de C.V. (IEnova), informs that today, ECA LNG Holdings B.V. (ECA LNG Holdings), a joint venture between IEnova and Sempra LNG (Sempra LNG), has signed an equity investment agreement with an affiliate of Total SE (Total) for its participation in the ECA LNG export project, located in Ensenada, Baja California.

Under the terms of the agreement, Total has acquired a 16.6% equity stake in ECA LNG Holdings, while IEnova and Sempra LNG will each retain 41.7% ownership.

Last month, IEnova announced it reached a final investment decision ( FID ) for the development, construction and operation of the ECA LNG export project.
