The Board of Directors ("Board") of Sinarmas Land Limited ("SML" or the "Company") wishes to announce the following changes to the Board and Board Committees:-

(1) The appointment of Mr Hong Pian Tee as a Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company; the Chairman of its Audit Committee and Nominating Committee; and a member of its Remuneration Committee; and

(2) The resignation of Mr Foo Meng Kee as a Non-Executive Independent Director, and from all Board Committee positions in the Company.

The above changes are effective on 26 April 2017.

Mr Hong's experience and expertise are in corporate advisory, financial reconstruction and corporate insolvencies since 1977. He has been a corporate/financial advisor to clients with businesses in Singapore and Indonesia and in addition was engaged to restructure companies with operations in Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Mr Hong was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1985 to 1999 prior to retiring from professional practice.

For the purposes of Rule 704(8) of the listing manual of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("Listing Manual"), Mr Hong is considered independent by the Board.

The Board wishes to thank Mr Foo, who has served more than 15 years as an Independent Director of the Company, for his dedicated service to the Company.

Details on the above appointment and resignation of Directors as required under Rule 704(7) of the SGX-ST Listing Manual are set out in separate announcements released today.
