IENOVA ANNOUNCES PREPAYMENT OF THE FINANCING OF ENERGIA SIERRA JUAREZ WIND FARM

Mexico City, October 8, 2021 - Infraestructura Energetica Nova, S.A.B. de C.V. (IEnova), a Sempra Infrastructure Partners company, informs the public investors that it has prepaid in full the financings of Energia Sierra Juarez (ESJ) wind farm.

ESJ is a wind power generation facility located in the Municipality of Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, consisting of two phases. The first phase is currently in operation since 2015 and has an installed capacity of 155 MW. The second phase is under construction and will have an installed capacity of 108 MW. In 2014, ESJ obtained a financing for construction of phase 1, and today it prepaid the financing in full for a total amount of US$175 million plus interest, hedge termination costs, and other ancillary costs.
