The Board of Directors of the Company, having considered among others, the recommendation of the Nominating Committee and the qualifications, work experience and competencies of Mdm Lee Sok Koon, Constance ("Mdm Lee"), is of the view that she is suitable for appointment as the Independent Director, Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Committee as well as a member of the Nominating Committee and Remuneration Committee of the Company. Mdm Lee's appointment as an Independent Director is subject to the approval of the Company's shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting on 25 July 2024. The Board considers Mdm Lee to be independent for the purpose of Rule 704(7) of the Listing Manual Section B: Rules of Catalist of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
