Dr Chen Mun had been the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of the Company until he relinquished his post in early January 2025 following the appointment of a new CEO who has since left the Company. With this reappointment, the Board acknowledges that the Company's succession plan will take a longer time frame. In doing so, the Board recognises that the business environment will continue to be challenging, evident by the recent 1H FY2025 financial performance. Dr Chen's accumulated experience, transforming the Group from the distribution and network businesses to the current wireless connectivity business, is needed to afford the Group time to identify suitable candidates and execute a seamless succession plan.
