Description (Please provide a detailed description of the event in the box below - Refer to the Online help for the format): This is to inform the Exchange that the Board Meeting of the Bank will be held on Thursday, the 6th November, 2014 at Bangalore, to approve, inter-alia the Reviewed Financial Results of the Bank, for the Second Quarter and Half-year ended 30th September, 2014.

In terms of Clause 10(A) of Canara Bank Code of Conduct for Prohibition of Insider Trading, the trading window for dealings in shares of the Bank will remain closed from 26.10.2014 to 08.11.2014 for the Directors / Designated Employees of the Bank and will be reopened on 09.11.2014, on account of Board Meeting to be held on 06.11.2014, inter-alia, to approve the Reviewed Financial Results of the Bank for the Second Quarter and Half-year ended 30th September, 2014, as informed above.
