Hiap Seng Engineering Ltd (Judicial Managers Appointed)(the "Company") and together with its subsidiaries (the "Group") wish to clarify that the Cessation of Mr Tan Puay Chye as Vice President of the Company's subsidiary, HS Compression & Process Pte Ltd (" HSCP") on 31 December 2020, happened shortly after the Company and HSCP were placed under judicial management, and the Judicial Managers were in the midst of reviewing the affairs and operations of HSCP.

The Group is of view that the omission is not considered material information as HSCP was placed under Judicial Management on 15 September 2020 and the operations for HSCP has been scaled down.
