Reference is made to the general announcement made by Doosan Enerbility Co., Ltd. (the Issuer ) via the website of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ( SGX-ST ) dated July 16, 2024 (the Original Announcement ) regarding the contemplated spin-off and merger of its investment business with and into Doosan Robotics, Inc. ( Doosan Robotics, and such transaction, the Merger ).

On August 29, 2024, each of the Issuer and Doosan Robotics publicly disclosed in Korea that Doosan Robotics no longer intends to pursue the previously contemplated comprehensive share swap to exchange all outstanding shares of Doosan Bobcat held by persons other than the Issuer with newly issued shares of Doosan Robotics in order for it to acquire a 100% equity interest in Doosan Bobcat (the Comprehensive Share Swap ). Notwithstanding such development, each of the Issuer and Doosan Robotics intends to continue to pursue the Merger, subject to approval of the respective shareholders of the Issuer and Doosan Robotics, requisite government approvals and certain other closing conditions.

The overall timetable for the Merger, including the dates of the events described in the Original Announcement, may be subject to change, subject to, among other things, further discussions with the relevant authorities.
