The Board of Directors of IOI Corporation Berhad ("IOI Corp") (the Holding Company of IOI Investment (L) Berhad) is pleased to announce that both IOI Capital (L) Berhad ("IOICL") and IOI Resources (L) Berhad ("IOIRL") had on 8 August 2016 received notifications (the "Notices") both dated 6 August 2016 from Labuan Financial Services Authority ("LFSA") informing that the name of both IOICL and IOIRL had been struck off from the register of LFSA under Section 151 of the Labuan Companies Act, 1990 ("Striking-Off").

IOICL and IOIRL are not in operations since the financial years ended 30 June 2012 and 30 June 2013 respectively and have no intention to commence their business or operation in the future.

The Striking-Off of IOICL and IOIRL will not have a material effect on the earnings or net assets of the IOI Corp Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2017.

None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of IOI Corp or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Striking-Off.
