This is to inform the Exchange that in exercise of powers conferred by the proviso to clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, read with sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 8 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970, the Central Government has appointed Shri K. Satyanarayana Raju (DOB : 28.12.1965), Chief General Manager, Bank of Baroda as Executive Director in Canara Bank for a period of three years with effect from the date of assumption of office, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vide Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services notification no. F. No. 4/3/2020-BO.I dated 10th March 2021.
