Description (Please provide a detailed description of the event in the box below - Refer to the Online help for the format): This is to inform the Exchange that the Board Meeting of the Bank will be held on Monday, the 21st July, 2014 at Bangalore, to inter-alia approve, the Reviewed Financial Results of the Bank, for the First Quarter ended 30th June, 2014.

In terms of Clause 10(A) of Canara Bank Code of Conduct for Prohibition of Insider Trading, the trading window for dealings in shares of the Bank will remain closed from 11.07.2014 to 23.07.2014 for the Directors / Designated Employees of the Bank and will be reopened on 24.07.2014, on account of Board Meeting to be held on 21.07.2014, inter-alia, to approve the Reviewed Financial Results of the Bank for the First Quarter ended 30th June, 2014, as informed above.
