In compliance with the provisions of articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18,045 on the Securities Market, and letter A.a) of the Section II of the General Rule No. 486, and number 5.1.7 of the Section IV of the General Rule No. 30 of the Commission for the Financial Market (hereinafter, the CMF ), hereby report as a Material Fact the following: On February 6, 2024, Scotiabank Chile (hereinafter, the Bank ) carried-out a placement of one dematerialized and bearer bond.
The specific conditions of the placement were as follow:
- Series BH bonds, for a total amount of 75,000 unidades de fomento (equivalent to approximately USD 2.9 million), maturing on March 9, 2029. The average placement rate of the securities was 3.18%. These bonds were charged to the line registered in the Securities Registry of the CMF under number 7/2021 dated March 1, 2022.
- Series AB bonds, for a total amount of 7,700,000,000 chilean pesos (equivalent to approximately USD 8.1 million), maturing on June 30, 2029. The average placement rate of the securities was 6.1%. These bonds were charged to the line registered in the Securities Registry of the CMF under number 20230006 dated November 6, 2023.
