Singapore, February 5, 2014 - Sembcorp Industries wishes to announce that its dormant subsidiary, Semrental (B) Sdn Bhd, has been placed under Members Voluntary Liquidation. Ms Katherine Lee, Messrs Katherine Lee & Company has been appointed as the liquidator for this subsidiary.

The voluntary liquidation of this subsidiary is not expected to have a material impact on the earnings per share and net asset value per share of Sembcorp Industries for the financial year ending December 31, 2014.
