NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that King Yuan Electronics Co., Ltd. (the Company) announced
a cash dividend of NT$1.8 per common share after such dividend was approved at the general shareholders meeting on June 8, 2017 and the meeting of Board of Directors on June 19, 2017 .

As a result, KYEC informs the holders of the Bonds that a Closed Period (as defined in the Indenture) will be in effect during the period between June 15, 2017 to July 10, 2017.
The record date will be set on July 10, 2017.
