Tania Ortiz Mena appointed CEO of I Enova. Carlos Ruiz Sacristan appointed Chairman and CEO of Sempra North American Infrastructure and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of I Enova

Mexico City, August 8, 2018 Infraestructura Energetica Nova, S.A.B. de C.V. ( IEnova ) announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Tania Ortiz Mena Lopez Negrete as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IEnova, effective September 1, 2018. Tania Ortiz Mena currently serves as Chief Development Officer of IEnova.

Carlos Ruiz Sacristan will become Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of IEnova and therefore will continue to promote, along with Tania Ortiz Mena, IEnovas growth strategy.

With a professional career that spans for more than 18 years in IEnova and more than 24 years in the energy sector, Tania Ortiz Mena s contribution has been key to position IEnova as the leading energy infrastructure company in the country. As Chief Development Officer responsible for attracting new business, Tania Ortiz Mena has played a fundamental role in IEnovas growth strategy.

Tania Ortiz Mena holds a bachelor s degree in International Relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master s Degree in International Relations from Boston University. Ortiz Mena is member of the Board of Directors of Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC. and currently serves as Vice-president of the World Energy Council -Mexico Chapter, among others. During 2015 and 2016, she served as Chairman of the Board of the Mexican Natural Gas Association (Asociacion Mexicana de Gas Natural).

Carlos Ruiz Sacristan was appointed Chairman and CEO of Sempra North American Infrastructure. In his new role, Ruiz Sacristan will lead the group of Sempra s North America infrastructure affiliates, which includes IEnova and Sempra LNG & Midstream; the later will have oversight of the LNG project of Energia Costa Azul in Ensenada, Baja California; the LNG terminal of Cameron in Louisiana; and the LNG terminal in Port Arthur, Texas, among others.

During the last 6 years in which Carlos Ruiz Sacristan led IEnova, the company became the first private energy company to be listed in the Mexican Stock Exchange and consolidated its position as the leading private energy company in Mexico with over 10 billion dollars invested in assets in operation and under construction.
