In compliance with the provisions of articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18,045 on the Securities Market, and letter A.a) of the Section II of the General Rule No. 486, and number 5.1.7 of the Section IV of the General Rule No. 30 of the Commission for the Financial Market (hereinafter, the CMF ), hereby report as a Material Fact the following: On June 9, 2023, Scotiabank Chile (hereinafter, the Bank ) carried-out a placement of three dematerialized and bearer bonds, charged to the lines registered in the Securities Registry of the CMF under number 7/2021 dated November 30, 2022 and February 2, 2023.
The specific conditions of the placement were as follow:
- Series BQ bonds, for a total amount of 200,000 Unidades de Fomento (equivalent to approximately USD 8.9 million), maturing on August 1, 2027. The average placement rate of the securities was 3.88%.
- Series BW bonds, for a total amount of 3,000,000 Unidades de Fomento (equivalent to approximately USD 134 million), maturing on April 1, 2035. The average placement rate of the securities was 2.78%.
- Series BZ bonds, for a total amount of 3,000,000,000 Chilean Pesos (equivalent to approximately USD 3.7 million), maturing on April 1, 2029. The average placement rate of the securities was 6.30%.
