On 1st November 2014, Vietnam Joint Stock Bank for Prosperity (VPBank) has announced Resolution of Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, dated 31st October 2014, in which, the General Meeting of Shareholders approve the resignation of Mr Phung Khac Ke from independent board member of VPBank.
Pursuant to Resolution No. 999/NQ- DHDCD of VietinBank - Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders dated 24th July 2014, Mr Phung Khac Ke is elected to be member of VietinBank s Board of Directors for the term 2014-2019 but Mr Phung Khac Ke can only serve the rights and obligations of VietinBank s independent board member after VPBank s General Meeting of Shareholders approves Mr Phung Khac Ke to be dismissed from the independent board members of VPBank .
Thus, based on the Resolutions of VPBank and VietinBank - Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, Mr Phung Khac Ke officially became an independent Board member of VietinBank from 01st November 2014.
