Media clarification by Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) regarding media reports published on 30 September 2014 that wrongly claimed SingTel had the second largest amount of 'tax forgone' in Australia. The media reportage had incorrectly calculated tax forgone in Australia by applying the Australian 30% corporate tax rate to the accumulated total of SingTel Group profits.
