IENOVA ANNOUNCES THE EXECUTION OF A STANDBY LETTER OF CREDIT FACILITY AND REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT

Infraestructura Energetica Nova, S.A.B. de C.V. ("IEnova") announces:

(i) In order to make more efficient and standardize the process for the issuance of standby letters of credit requested by governmental entities or third parties with whom it contracts, IEnova executed, together with a bank syndicate formed by Banco Nacional de Mexico, S.A., member of Grupo Financiero Banamex, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, BBVA Bancomer, S.A. Institucion de Banca Multiple; Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer, Scotiabank Inverlat, S.A. Institucion de Banca Multiple, Grupo Financiero Scotiabank Inverlat; Mizuho Bank, Ltd., BNP Paribas, Banco Santander (Mexico), S.A. Institucion de Banca Multiple and Grupo Financiero Santander Mexico, entered into a letter of credit facility and reimbursement agreement, up to an amount equivalent to USD1,000,000,000.00 (one billion dollars 00/100 legal tender of the United States of America) which will be in effect for five years (the "LOCF") from January 22, 2018.

(ii) The foregoing, among other things, will allow IEnova to expedite the administrative processes for the issuance or renewal of standby letters of credit and to have a unique process for the issuance of all its standby letters of credit.

(iii) The LOCF and the standby letters of credit issued under the same do not constitute IEnova's debt.
