This is an announcement regarding, among others, the substitution (the Substitution ) of Vanke Real Estate (Hong Kong) Company Limited (the Original Guarantor and the New Issuer ) in place of Bestgain Real Estate Lyra Limited (the Original Issuer ) as the principal debtor of the SGD140,000,000 3.275 per cent. Guaranteed Notes due 2017 (ISIN Code: SG58F7998324) and any other notes (the Notes ) which have been issued or will be issued under the US$3,200,000,000 Medium Term Note Programme of the Original Issuer. Pursuant to the Substitution, the New Issuer is substituted in place of the Original Issuer as the principal debtor of the Programme and any Notes which have been or will be issued thereunder, the Original Issuer is released from its obligations as issuer under the Programme and the Notes and the Original Guarantor is released from its obligations as guarantor under the Programme and the Notes.
