The Board, having considered the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee ("NRC") has approved Mr. Kuah BW's redesignation from Non-Executive Non-Independent Director to Deputy Non-Executive Chairman. In making its recommendation, the NRC reviewed and considered Mr. Kuah BW's qualifications, previous experience as Group CEO, leadership and contributions to the Board, and was satisfied that he is suitable for the role.

The Board and NRC are of the view that the redesignation would strengthen the Company's governance framework in line with its leadership continuity and contingency protocol.

The redesignation shall not, in itself, result in any change to Mr Kuah BW's remuneration.

In his capacity as Deputy Non-Executive Chairman, Mr. Kuah BW will support the Executive Chairman in the discharging of the Chairman's responsibilities when required. Mr. Kuah BW will continue to be considered as non-independent director and will not assume executive management responsibilities.
