The Board of Directors (the Board) of Miyoshi Limited (the Company, together with its subsidiaries, the Group) wishes to announce that the Company has established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, known as Miyoshi Optoelectronics (S) Pte Ltd.

The registered capital of the New Subsidiary is S$2, and its principal activities include the development and manufacturing of portable power equipment, tele-surveillance systems and communication electronics.

The establishment of the New Subsidiary is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings per share or net tangible asset of the Group for the year ending 31 August 2016.

None of the Directors or controlling shareholders of the Company (other than in their capacity as Director or shareholders of the Company) has any interest, direct or indirect, in the New Subsidiary.
