10-year budget update

The Mayoral Proposal for public consultation on Auckland Council s 10-year Budget 2021-2031 (also known as a Long-term Plan or LTP) has been made available on the council s website:
ourauckland.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/articles/news/2020/12/recovery-budget-proposal/

The council s Governing Body will be asked to agree the key items for public consultation on 9 December 2020. The agenda, reports and supporting information for the meeting on 9 December 2020 will be available on infocouncil.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz from 4 December 2020.

Consultation materials will then be prepared, audited and presented to the Governing Body for adoption on 18 February 2021.

Following consideration of public feedback which will run from 22 February to 22 March 2021, the Governing Body will make decisions and adopt its final 10-year Budget 2021-2031 by 30 June 2021.
