The Board of Directors of Singapore Exchange Limited ("SGX or the Company") is recommending a proposed final dividend of 8 cents per ordinary share for the financial year ended 30 June 2021 ("Final Dividend").
2. Notice of Record Date
The Company hereby gives notice that, subject to the approval of the shareholders being obtained for the Final Dividend at the 22nd Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on 7 October 2021 (Thursday), the Register of Members and the Transfer Books of the Company will be closed from 15 October 2021 (Friday) at 5.00 p.m. for the preparation of dividend warrants.
Duly completed registrable transfers received by the Company's Share Registrar, BoardRoom Corporate & Advisory Services Pte Ltd, at 50 Raffles Place, #32-01, Singapore Land Tower, Singapore 048623 before 5.00 p.m. on 15 October 2021 (Friday), will be registered to determine shareholders' entitlements to the Final Dividend.
In respect of ordinary shares in securities account with The Central Depository (Pte) Limited ("CDP"), the Final Dividend will be paid by the Company to CDP which will, in turn distribute the entitlements to the Final Dividend to CDP account-holders in accordance with its normal practice. |
