Additional TextIn relation to the recommended cash acquisition of Mandarin Oriental International Limited ("Mandarin Oriental") by Jardine Strategic Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited, by way of a scheme of arrangement under the Bermuda Companies Act ("Scheme"),
Additional Textthe Scheme is expected to become effective on 19 January 2026, subject to: (i) the Bermuda court sanctioning the Scheme at the sanction hearing expected to be held on 15 January 2026; and (ii) the delivery of a copy of the court order to the Registrar of Companies in Bermuda.
Additional TextAccordingly, the trading of Mandarin Oriental's shares on the Singapore Exchange will be suspended with effect from 9.00 a.m. on 8 January 2026.
