Please be informed that our Board of Directors ("Board"), in its regular meeting today, approved, upon endorsement of our Personnel and Compensation Committee, BPI's Treasurer transition plan in connection with the retirement of Mr. Dino Rudyardo F. Gasmen on September 1, 2026, and the appointment of Mr. Estelito C. Biacora as Treasurer and Head of Global Markets effective January 1, 2027.

As part of the Treasurer transition plan, the Board also approved the appointment of Mr. Jethro Daniel S. Sorra as Treasurer from September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026. Mr. Biacora will assume the position of Treasurer effective January 1, 2027.

Mr. Biacora currently serves as Treasurer of Ayala Corporation. He brings to BPI more than 30 years of experience in treasury, asset management, private banking, capital markets, and sustainable finance. Prior to joining Ayala Corporation, he held various senior leadership positions at BPI, including Chief Investment Officer, Head of BPI Private Banking, and Head of Sales and Foreign Currency Portfolio Management. He also held leadership positions at Banco Santander Philippines and Far East Bank and Trust Company.

Mr. Sorra is currently Head of Trading under Global Markets at the Bank of the Philippine Islands. Previously, he headed the Bank s Asset and Liability Management unit and held treasury leadership positions at Goldman Sachs.
