In compliance with the provisions of articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18,045 on the Securities Market, and letter A.a) of the Section II of the General Rule No. 486, and number 5.1.7 of the Section IV of the General Rule No. 30 of the Commission for the Financial Market (hereinafter, the CMF ), hereby report as a Material Fact the following: On May 22, 2024, Scotiabank Chile (hereinafter, the Bank ) carried-out a placement of one dematerialized and bearer bond.
The specific conditions of the placement were as follow:
- Series AA bonds, for a total amount of 22,000,000,000 chilean pesos (equivalent to approximately USD 24.5 million), maturing on June 30, 2028. The average placement rate of the securities was 6.31%. These bonds were charged to the line registered in the Securities Registry of the CMF under number 20230006 dated November 6, 2023.
- Series BO bonds, for a total amount of 17,000,000,000 chilean pesos (equivalent to approximately USD 19 million), maturing on August 1, 2028. The average placement rate of the securities was 6.31%. These bonds were charged to the line registered in the Securities Registry of the CMF under number 7/2021 dated November 30, 2022.
