The Board of Directors ("Board") of Sinarmas Land Limited ("SML" or the "Company") wishes to announce the appointment of two additional non-executive independent Directors to the Board, effective today, as follows:-

(1) The appointment of Mr Willy Shee Ping Yah @ Shee Ping Yan as a Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company.

Mr Willy Shee is currently Senior Advisor to CBRE Pte Ltd and CBRE Realty Associates Pte Ltd in a non-executive role since July 2016, after stepping down as the Chairman, Asia of CBRE Pte Ltd with oversight over the operations of all the offices of CBRE in Asia, a position which Mr Shee held from 1 July 2005 to 30 June 2016. From 1991 to June 2005, Mr Shee was the managing director of CB Richard Ellis (Pte) Ltd, Singapore office, and was responsible for its growth and overall operations. Mr Shee holds a Diploma in Urban Valuation from the University of Auckland, New Zealand (under the Colombo Plan Scholarship 1968-70). He is a fellow member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers, a fellow member of the Association of Property and Facility Managers and an associate member of the New Zealand Property Institute.

(2) The appointment of Mr Lew Syn Pau as a Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company.

Mr Lew is presently a Director of Capital Connections Pte Ltd and he sits on the boards of several companies listed on the Official List of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited as an independent director. Mr Lew was Senior Country Officer and General Manager for Banque Indosuez Singapore, where he worked from 1994 to 1997. He was General Manager and subsequently, Managing Director of NTUC Comfort from 1987 to 1993 and Executive Director of NTUC Fairprice from 1993 to 1994. Mr Lew served as a Member of Parliament from 1988 to 2001. He was President of The Singapore Manufacturers' Federation from July 2002 to June 2006. Mr Lew obtained a Master in Engineering from Cambridge University, United Kingdom and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University, United States of America. He was a Singapore Government scholar.
