The Board of Directors ("Board") of Bund Center Investment Ltd (the "Company") wishes to announce the following appointments, effective 24 April 2024:

(A) Appointment of Non-executive Independent Directors

The appointment of (1) Mr Chong Weng Hoe ("Mr Chong") and (2) Ms Kuan Li Li ("Ms Kuan") as Non-executive Independent Directors of the Company.

(1) Mr Chong Weng Hoe

Mr Chong is currently Executive Vice President, Global Head of Service Line for EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility)/Wireless (part-time) with TUV SUD Asia Pacific Pte Ltd responsible in a global role to oversee the operations of all EMC/Wireless laboratories located world-wide, including strategic planning, business development and investments (since 2016).

Starting his career with Singapore Electronics and Engineering as an Electronics Engineer (1989-1991), Mr Chong then moved to TUV SUD PSB Pte Ltd (previously known as PSB Corporate/SISIR) where he held various positions, namely, as an Engineer (EMC) (1991); Vice President (EMC) (1995); Senior Vice President (Testing) (2002). He was appointed its Chief Executive Officer (2008-2013); Executive Vice President (2013-2016); and a Board Director (2007-2017).

Mr Chong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) degree (1997), and completed a postgraduate degree of Master of Business Administration (Accountancy) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (1989).

(2) Ms Kuan Li Li

Ms Kuan is an experienced Non-Executive Director serving on the boards of various public and private companies in Singapore and Malaysia. Her career profile spans over 30 years in the areas of banking, finance, global advisory services and technology.

Ms Kuan was previously the Chief Financial Officer (2018-2019) of ABB Pte Ltd, Singapore, the Country Head and Chief Operating Officer of Barclays Bank PLC, Singapore Branch, CEO of Barclays Capital Futures Singapore Pte Ltd, CEO of Barclays Merchant Bank (Singapore) Ltd and served on the Boards of Barclays' subsidiaries in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia (2014-2017).

Ms Kuan graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia with double degrees in Laws and Economics (1983-1987) before joining the Big Eight Accountancy Firms (the predecessor of the Big Four). She is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants (2016), and was admitted as solicitor and barrister to the Supreme Court of New South Wales (1989).

For purposes of Rule 704(8) of the listing manual of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("Listing Manual"), both Mr Chong and Ms Kuan are considered independent by the Board.

Details on the above appointments as required under Rule 704(7) of the Listing Manual are set out in separate announcements released today.

(B) Appointment to Audit Committee ("AC"), Nominating Committee ("NC"), Remuneration Committee ("RC")

The appointment of Mr Chong and Ms Kuan as members of the AC, NC and RC.
