Description (Please provide a detailed description of the event in the box below): We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Bank, at its meeting held today, has approved the appointment of Mr. Atanu Chakraborty (DIN: 01469375) as Part Time Chairperson and Additional Independent Director on the Board of the Bank, subject to approval of the shareholders of the Bank at the ensuing Annual General Meeting, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from May 5, 2021, as approved by the Reserve Bank of India vide its communication dated April 22, 2021.

The profile of Mr. Atanu Chakraborty is provided in Annexure attached to this intimation. He is not debarred from holding office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any such other authority. He is not related to any director of the Bank.
