The accompanying consolidated financial statements of the Company have been prepared under the accrual basis
and historical costs premise, except for the revaluation of properties, investments, trademarks and derivative
financial instruments. The amounts are rounded to thousands, except as otherwise noted.

The consolidated financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting
Standards (IFRS) issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
IFRSs are comprised by the IFRS and by the International Accounting Standards (IAS), their Amendments and
Interpretations to both IFRS and IAS (IFRIC and SIC, respectively).

The preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with the adopted IFRSs requires the use of
certain critical accounting estimates. It also requires TPG s Management to use its judgment when applying TPG
accounting policies. The areas in which significant judgments and estimates have been made when preparing the
consolidated financial statements and their effect, are described in Note 2f.
