Description (Please provide a detailed description of the event in the box below): Neptune Orient Lines Limited ("NOL") wishes to announce that it has, through its wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, APL Logistics Ltd ("APLL"), incorporated a new company in Myanmar, namely APL Logistics (Myanmar) Company Limited ("APLL Myanmar"), to grow its Logistics business.

APLL Myanmar is wholly owned by APLL and one of its key business objectives is to liaise with local agents and/or third party service providers who are authorized to undertake warehousing and logistics services.

APLL Myanmar will be capitalized in accordance with the terms and conditions prescribed by the Companies Registration Office of Myanmar.

The incorporation of APLL Myanmar is not expected to have a material effect on the net tangible assets or earnings per share of the NOL Group for the current financial year.

None of the Directors or controlling shareholder of NOL has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above transaction.
