Stratech Systems Limited had previously made a purported misleading announcement which was released by the management without prior approval from the board of directors. Stratech Systems Limited was subsequently issued a warning by SGX for the mentioned announcement.

In August 2015, China Fishery Group Ltd and its subsidiaries were investigated by MAS into an offence under the Securities and Futures Act, Chapter 289, pursuant to the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (Chapter 68, 2012 Revised Edition). This investigation arose out of investigation into the parent company in Hong Kong. None of the Independent Directors (including Mr Lim Soon Hock) was investigated.
