As announced by USP Group Limited (Under Judicial Management), a winding-up application was filed in November 2023 against USP Group Limited (under Judicial Management). Mr Sim was appointed as the Independent Director of USP Group Limited (Under Judicial Management) in December 2023. The company was subsequently placed under interim judicial management in March 2024 and under judicial management in June 2024; Mr Sim ceased to be an Independent Director of USP Group Limited with effect from 15 June 2026.
Separately, as announced by Boldtek Holdings Limited, a winding-up application was filed in January 2024 against the company. Mr Sim was appointed as the Independent Director in September 2022 and subsequently stepped down in December 2023. Boldtek Holdings Limited was placed under judicial management in April 2024 and subsequently placed under compulsory winding-up.
