DBS Group Holdings Ltd ("DBSH") refers to its general announcement dated 28 January 2022 on the acquisition of the consumer banking business of Citigroup Inc in Taiwan, via a transfer of assets and liabilities, by DBS Bank (Taiwan) Ltd.

DBSH wishes to announce that approval has been obtained on 22 December 2022 from Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission for the said acquisition in accordance with the Business Merger and Acquisition Act and other applicable laws.
