The Company was incorporated in Singapore on 30 September 2004 under the name
of Luzhou Bio-Chem Technology Pte Ltd. It assumed the present name on 7
September 2005.
Luzhou Bio-Chem Technology Ltd is a corn refiner principally engaged in the
production and distribution of various sweeteners to its customers domestically
and overseas. Depending on the market conditions and production requirements
for its sweeteners, the Group also sells corn starch, an intermediate product
in the production of sweeteners. By-products of its production process are
also sold to generate additional revenue. Its primary customer base consists
of domestic and overseas manufacturers from various industries that use its
products as additives or ingredients to enhance and improve various aspects of
their products.
The Group's products can be categorised as follows:-
i) sweeteners such as Maltose, High Fructose Syrup, Isomaltooligosaccharide and
Maltodextrin
ii) corn starch, an intermediate product in the production of sweeteners
iii) by-products, comprising corn gluten meal, corn fibre, corn germ and
steepwater
Its production facilities are located in Fushun, Yishui, Xingping and Xiping in
the Liaoning, Shandong, Shaanxi and Henan, China respectively. Its annual
production capacity of approximately 650,000 tonnes if sweeteners and 560,000
tonnes of corn starch.
Its products are used by domestic and overseas customers as additives or
ingredients in the manufacture of their products. We serve a diverse customer
base in industries such as food, beverage, fermentation, medical,
pharmaceutical and textile.
Some of its customers include Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd (??????????), Beijing
Wangwang Food Co.,Ltd (??????????), Dujiangyan Plant Oil Factory (???????) and
China Resources Breweries Liaoning Co., Ltd (??????(??)????).
The Group exports some of its products to countries such as South Korea,
Philippines, Australia, South Africa, Japan, USA and countries in South East
Asia.
