Description (Please provide a detailed description of the event in the box below)
- Pillar of SGX Group's efforts to foster financial education and empower investors
- Special category winner tells story of how participants across investing community are playing their part to make the ecosystem better

SGX Orb Awards winners reported on Southeast Asia's dominance in a fast-growing creator economy of live streaming and vertical videos, probed whether so-called "sin stocks" still have a place in an increasingly responsible investing world, and told the story of how the financial community is contributing to the impact-investing ecosystem.

The winners were unveiled at Singapore Exchange's (SGX Group) annual Media Appreciation Night today. Since its launch in 2018, the SGX Orb Awards has become a pillar of SGX Group's efforts to support investors in making informed investment decisions and improve financial knowledge in the ecosystem. This year's seventh edition drew entries from a diverse group of content producers that included journalists from local and international print and broadcast media, online news sites backed by publishing and editorial companies, as well as independent writers such as bloggers and investment websites.

Submissions were reviewed by an independent panel of judges comprising Adrienne Teh, Managing Director at 65 Equity Partners; Bill Herder, Head of Asia-Pacific at FIA; Chris Wright, former Asia editor of Euromoney and Co-Founding Partner of Resonate Global Advisors; and Joe Yan, Operating Partner of Granite Asia.

Teo Ai June, Head of Marketing & Communications at SGX Group, said, "We extend our congratulations to the winners and finalists, who impressed the judges with the high quality of their work. True to its mission of 'Connecting Perspectives and Inspiring Conversations', the SGX Orb Awards brings together insightful and engaging financial news and content which plays an important role in supporting a vibrant capital markets ecosystem. We look forward to expanding our work with the community in an ever-changing media landscape."
