Reference is made to the announcement dated 6 September 2017 in relation to the issue by BDO Unibank, Inc. (BDO) of U.S.$700,000,000 Senior Notes due 2023 (the Notes) under BDO s U.S.$5,000,000,000 Medium Term Note Programme.

BDO hereby announces that on August 24, 2022 it has completed the repurchase of Notes in the aggregate principal amount of U.S.$36,032,000 (the Repurchased Notes) representing approximately 5.15% of the Notes issued.

The Repurchased Notes are expected to be cancelled as soon as practicable. After the cancellation of the Repurchased Notes, U.S.$663,968,000 worth of Notes will remain outstanding.

BDO ensures compliance with the continuing listing obligation to disclose any repurchase and/or cancellation of the Notes.
